Zar Formenti

RIBs from 5 to 10 m with a wide hull and high bow.

Zar Formenti was founded in 1993 near Milan by Piero Formenti with a technical idea: a very wide rigid hull under reduced tubes, to gain space and seakeeping. This patented design became the brand's signature.

The range covers 5 to 10 m: the classic Zar, the Zar Formenti ZF and ZAR Imagine, with spacious cockpits, large consoles and modular sunpads. Outboard engines, single or twin.

Before you sign: a Zar offers more space than a classic RIB of the same length, and resells well in the Mediterranean. The smaller tubes expose a little more to spray. Production is regular, lead times short.
