Sanlorenzo has built yachts since 1958 that are recognised by their restrained lines and their refusal of the spectacular. Taken over in 2005 by Massimo Perotti, the yard has multiplied its size without changing its method: every yacht is built for one owner, from a proven platform. It has been listed on the Milan stock exchange since 2019.
The SL (planing), SD (semi-displacement) and SX (crossover) lines cover 24 to 38 m in composite, with interiors by leading names in Italian design. The Superyacht division in La Spezia builds in steel and aluminium from 44 to 73 m. Bluegame, the sister brand, covers 13 to 23 m.
Before you sign: Sanlorenzo allows real freedom on layouts, which lengthens the design phase. Lead times are among the longest in semi-custom, and prices hold, including on the used market. Bluegame yachts are a good entry point into the house.
