Wauquiez was founded in 1965 near Lille by Henri Wauquiez and built a reputation for sturdy, well-finished sailing yachts, the Centurion and the Pilot Saloon, halfway between series and custom. The yard has changed hands several times and has belonged to an independent owner since 2021.
The range covers 13 to 18 m: the Pilot Saloon 42 and 55 with raised coachroof, and the more performance-oriented Centurions. Construction is semi-artisanal, with customised interiors.
