The world's largest pleasure boat builder, sail and power from 6 to 20 m.
Bénéteau was founded in 1884 in Croix-de-Vie by Benjamin Bénéteau, a trawler builder, and became under Annette Roux, in the 1960s and 1970s, the world's largest sailing yacht builder. The listed Beneteau group also includes Jeanneau, Lagoon, Prestige and several American brands.
The Bénéteau range covers 6 to 20 m: in sail, the First, Oceanis and Oceanis Yacht; in power, the Flyer, Antares, Swift Trawler and Gran Turismo. Production is industrial, spread between the Vendée, Poland and the United States.
Strengths: easy to resell and maintain anywhere in the Mediterranean, the densest network on the market, and Swift Trawlers with stable value.
