Jeanneau

France · 6 to 20 m · Motor and sail

Series sail and power boats from 6 to 20 m, Beneteau group.

Jeanneau was founded in 1957 in Les Herbiers by Henri Jeanneau, a racing driver turned motor boat builder. The yard grew on sail with the Sun Odyssey and joined the Beneteau group in 1995, keeping its range and identity.

The range covers 6 to 20 m: in sail, the Sun Odyssey, Sun Fast and Jeanneau Yachts; in power, the Cap Camarat, Merry Fisher, Leader, NC and Velasco. Designs are by Philippe Briand, Marc Lombard or Michael Peters.

Strengths: the best-selling Cap Camarats in the Mediterranean, hence the easiest to resell, and large sailing yachts with good space for the price.
