Lagoon

France · 12 to 24 m · Motor and sail

Cruising catamarans from 12 to 24 m, the world's largest builder.

Lagoon was created in 1984 in Bordeaux by Jeanneau Techniques Avancées for racing catamarans, and became in the 1990s the world's largest builder of cruising catamarans. The brand belongs to the Beneteau group and produces in Bordeaux and the Vendée.

The range covers 12 to 24 m: in sail, from the Lagoon 40 to the Seventy 7; in power, the Sixty 7 and Seventy 8. Designs are by VPLP, styling by Nauta Design, with interior volumes unmatched for the length.

Strengths: the world's largest catamaran builder, volumes unmatched for the length, and large models that are yachts in their own right.
