Salpa has built since 1958 in the Naples area, first wooden boats and then polyester open boats and RIBs. The yard earned its place in the Mediterranean with simple, sturdy boats, well finished for their price.
The range covers 6 to 13 m: the Soleil as luxury RIBs, with highly styled consoles and sunpads, the Laver as rigid-hull open boats. Engines are outboard, often twin, and layouts are designed for the day at sea.
Before you sign: a Salpa is chosen for the day and the anchorage, with very good value for equipment. Resale is easy in the Mediterranean. As with any RIB, the condition of the tubes and upholstery makes the difference on the used market.
