Otam, Officine Tecniche Alta Marea, has built in Genoa since 1954. The yard made its name in the 1990s with deep-V open yachts capable of exceeding 50 knots, and has never left that niche: few yachts a year, all different.

The range covers 17 to 35 m: the Millennium 55 to 85 as open and hardtop, the Otam 100 as flybridge and bespoke projects. Hulls are designed for speed in a rough sea; interiors are drawn with the owner, without an options catalogue.

Before you sign: an Otam is an enthusiast's boat, fast, hand built, with seakeeping rare in its category. Running costs are high and the used market confidential. The yard services its own yachts itself.
