Maxi Dolphin was created in 1991 in Erbusco, in Franciacorta, to build racing sailing yachts in advanced composites. The yard has worked with the greatest architects and diversified into carbon motor day boats.
The range covers 12 to 30 m: in sail, the MD semi-custom and bespoke yachts up to 100 feet; in power, the MD51 and MD75 Power, light and fast open boats. Carbon construction is the house speciality.
Before you sign: Maxi Dolphin is an engineering yard more than a series builder, suited to an owner demanding on technique. Boats are rare, resale happens between connoisseurs. The power-to-weight ratio of the motor open boats is their argument.
