Maxi open, GranSport and Oceano yachts from 28 to 54 m, Overmarine Group.

Mangusta is the brand of the Overmarine Group, founded in 1985 in Viareggio by the Balducci family. The yard invented the maxi open: yachts of 30 m and more, fast and low-profile, that dominated the Mediterranean quays in the 2000s.

The range has grown into three lines: Maxi Open from 28 to 50 m in composite, GranSport from 33 to 54 m in aluminium for speed with range, and Oceano from 39 to 50 m in displacement for long-range cruising. Alberto Mancini draws the recent lines.

Before you sign: a Mangusta is for those who want a fast, spectacular yacht, with the costs that go with it. The Oceano answers a calmer demand. The used market is wide for the open yachts, with large price differences depending on maintenance.
