AB Yachts was born in 1992 within the Fipa Group in Viareggio, with a speciality it has never left: very fast large open yachts. The composite and carbon hulls are driven by waterjets, and the largest yachts exceed 50 knots.
The range covers 30 to 45 m: AB 100, AB 110, AB 145. The design favours low lines, large cockpits and beach clubs, for owners who want to link Monaco to Porto Cervo within the day. Interiors are handled semi-custom with the yard's studio.
Before you sign: speed is paid for in fuel and in maintenance of jets and engines, to be costed before ordering. The used market is narrow and specialised. An AB is meant for the Mediterranean in season, rarely for long-range cruising.
