Vitters was founded in 1990 in Zwartsluis and specialised in large performance sailing yachts, in aluminium and carbon, with deliveries such as Aglaia, Ahimsa or the ketch Sarissa. The yard has belonged since 2020 to Dutch investors.
Production covers 30 to 90 m, full custom: high-performance sloops and ketches, often designed by Dykstra, Tripp or Reichel/Pugh, with captive sail-handling systems and light interiors. The yard also builds motor yachts on occasion.
