Semi-custom superyachts from 55 to 80 m, full custom beyond
Large aluminium sailing yachts from 30 to 90 m, and a few motor yachts.
Royal Huisman has built in Vollenhove since 1884, first wooden working boats, then from the 1960s aluminium sailing yachts that made its worldwide reputation. The yard received the royal title in 1984 and also builds its own masts and spars through Rondal.
Production is bespoke, in aluminium, from 30 to 90 m: long-range sloops and ketches, racers, and since the 2010s a few motor yachts such as the Phi line. The yard delivered the largest three-masted sailing yacht it has ever built, Sea Eagle II, in 2020.
Strengths: the sailing equivalent of a Feadship, its own masts through Rondal, and an active refit market for its sailing yachts.
