Hatteras Yachts

United States · 12 to 32 m · Motor

Motor yachts and sportfish from 12 to 32 m, a polyester pioneer.

Hatteras was founded in 1959 in North Carolina by Willis Slane, who built the first large polyester fishing boat, the 41-foot Knit Wits. The brand became an American classic and resumed production after a change of ownership in 2021.

The range covers 12 to 32 m: the GT sportfish, from 59 to 70 feet, and the M motor yachts, up to the M90 and M100. Hulls are known for their solidity in a rough sea.

Strengths: sixty years as an American reference, solid hulls, and a brand that has regained momentum with new models.
