Fjord is a Norwegian brand born in 1950, taken over by the HanseYachts group in 2006 and relaunched in Greifswald with the Fjord 40 Open by Patrick Banfield: vertical bow, flat deck, straight lines. This design started the modern walkaround trend in Europe.
The range covers 11 to 16 m: Fjord 38, 41, 44 and 53, as open and coupé, with huge cockpits, IPS or outboard engines, and compact interiors. Production is industrial, alongside the Hanses.
