Catana has built fast cruising catamarans with daggerboards, in composite and carbon, in Canet-en-Roussillon since 1984. The listed Catana group launched the Bali brand in 2014, volume catamarans with a solid foredeck, now the largest share of its production.
The Catana range covers 13 to 22 m: Catana 47, 53 and Ocean Class 70, with infused hulls and lifting daggerboards. Bali covers 12 to 17 m, sail and power, with its tilting garage-door concept that joins cockpit and saloon.
Strengths: two brands for two programmes, performance with Catana and volume with Bali, construction in Roussillon, and Balis in strong demand for charter and purchase alike.
