Steeler was created in 2004 in Steenwijk with a method: every boat is built to order, in steel or aluminium, from a platform chosen by the client. The yard made its name with modern-looking 15 to 20 m yachts.
The range covers 12 to 22 m: the NG (Next Generation) in displacement, the Flybridge, the Explorer and the outboard-powered Bronson. Designs are often by Vripack; hybrid propulsion is offered on several models.
Strengths: a personalised metal boat under 20 m without going to large custom, Vripack designs, and 12 to 18 months of construction.
