Hakvoort has built in Monnickendam, north of Amsterdam, since 1919. The fourth generation of the family runs a yard that long produced fishing boats before moving to steel yachts in the 1980s.
Production covers 30 to 65 m in full custom, in steel with aluminium superstructures, in a classic seamanlike style: Apostrophe, Just J's, Scout. Interiors are entrusted to studios chosen by the owner, lines often to Diana Yacht Design or Sinot.
Strengths: a family in its fourth generation, one or two yachts at a time, and a classic style with steady resale.
