Cheoy Lee Shipyards

China · 15 to 50 m · Motor

Motor yachts and explorers from 15 to 50 m, since 1870.

Cheoy Lee was founded in 1870 in Shanghai and has been based in Hong Kong since 1936, run by the Lo family for five generations. The yard built famous sailing yachts in the 1960s and 1970s and today produces motor yachts and commercial vessels.

The range covers 15 to 50 m: the Bravo motor yachts, the Explorer and Serenity in displacement, and bespoke yachts in composite, steel or aluminium, with Michael Peters and Sylvia Bolton designs.

Strengths: one hundred and fifty years of experience, commercial shipbuilding capacity applied to yachts, and competitive prices.
