YachtDeals takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This page explains what information we collect, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are.
The data controller is Florian Arneodo, trading under the YachtDeals brand, yacht brokerage and charter, based on the French Riviera (Vallauris, in the Antibes, Cannes and Monaco area). For any question about your data, you can write to info@yachtdeals.fr or call +33 6 99 52 46 39.
Depending on your request, we may collect: your identity (first name, last name), your contact details (email address, phone number), information about your project (purchase, sale, charter, valuation: desired dates or period, cruising area, number of guests on board, budget, boat details) and technical data linked to your browsing on the site (cookies, IP address, pages viewed).
We collect this data when you fill in a form on yachtdeals.fr, when you fill in an advertising form on the Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram), when you subscribe to our newsletter, or when you contact us directly by email, phone or messaging.
Your data is used to answer your requests and present you with suitable boats or services (pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest), to manage the commercial relationship (performance of the contract), to send you information and newsletters where you have consented (consent), and to improve our services and our site (legitimate interest). We do not carry out any solely automated decision producing legal effects concerning you.
Your data is processed by YachtDeals and by its technical providers acting as processors: our customer relationship management and emailing tool (HighLevel), the advertising platforms we use (Meta), our hosting provider and our analytics tools. These providers only use your data for the services they provide to us. We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
Some of our providers are established outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. Where this is the case, such transfers are framed by appropriate safeguards (the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms) to ensure an adequate level of protection for your data.
We keep your data for the duration of our relationship, then for three years from our last contact where you are a prospect. Documents relating to a transaction are kept for the periods required by our legal and accounting obligations. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict and port your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to us at info@yachtdeals.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris, www.cnil.fr, or with your local supervisory authority.
Every newsletter we send contains an unsubscribe link. One click is enough to stop receiving our communications. Your request is processed immediately.
