Buy the right yacht, at the right price. A brokerage house and a former captain at your side, between Antibes, Cannes and Monaco.
Buying a pre-owned yacht means a market with no official prices, flattering listings, incomplete histories and VAT questions that can turn expensive. Most buyers visit with their enthusiasm. Sellers and their brokers negotiate all year round.
You have found a yacht on the French Riviera but you are in London, Geneva or Paris? We go for you.
Hull, deck, engines, interiors, equipment: the yacht reviewed as if you were there.
You see what we see, unfiltered and unstaged.
Around twenty checkpoints, and the precise questions to ask the seller.
Based on actual transaction data, not asking prices.
Within 5 working days in the Alpes-Maritimes, Var and Monaco. Beyond, on request. Fully credited if you upgrade to the full purchase assistance.
From the search to the handover, we take care of everything. You keep the decisions, we handle the rest.
Your cruising programme, your real budget (purchase and ownership), the shortlist of relevant models.
Public listings and off-market units, through a network of more than 500 brokers.
We filter and visit. You only travel for the finalists.
Based on the segment's actual transaction prices, not asking prices.
Sale agreement, survey, sea trial, VAT and registration: every step secured through to completion.
Half a day at sea with a former captain, so you set off with confidence from day one.
An engagement fee of €3,500 on signature. It covers the brief, the search and the viewings, however many units we examine. Delegated viewing included.
A success fee of 5% of the purchase price, minimum €3,500, due on completion. The engagement fee is credited against it in full.
We only get paid once. As soon as we are due a commission on the seller's side, it settles our fee: you pay nothing further and your engagement fee is refunded. Three cases, no others:
We share their commission. It stands in place of our fee, and your engagement fee is refunded in full.
We receive the seller's commission. Same rule, full refund.
Nobody pays us on the seller's side. The 5% success fee applies, less the engagement fee. It is our only remuneration on the transaction.
One party pays us, and you know which one before you sign. The rule is set out in the assistance agreement.
The assistance runs for 6 months. If no unit fits after a serious search, we extend at no cost or refund half the engagement fee, the balance covering the search time already spent. We would rather return half our fee than see you buy badly.
For you. YachtDeals also represents sellers, and that is exactly why our remuneration is built to be the same wherever the yacht comes from: a commission shared with another broker, a commission on one of our own listings, or a fee you pay on a private sale. We cannot be paid twice on the same transaction and we earn no more on one yacht than on another, so we have no reason to steer you anywhere but towards the right one.
Motor and sail, 8 to 20 metres, mainly in the Mediterranean. Above 20 metres, let's talk directly.
No, and deliberately so: we tell you precisely when a survey is warranted, and we organise it. Our role is to save you from paying for a survey on a yacht that does not deserve one.
