Bering Yachts was founded in 2007 by Alexei Mikhailov, first in China, then based in Antalya from 2017. The yard builds only one type of boat: the steel displacement explorer, designed to cross oceans autonomously, with thick hulls and exceptional fuel reserves.
The range covers 20 to 45 m: Bering 65, 75, 80, 92, 115 and 145, in steel with aluminium superstructures, zero-speed stabilisers, large accessible engine rooms, and layouts customised to order. Recent yachts have been delivered to American and European owners for world cruises.
Strengths: yachts made to go far, months at a time autonomously, robust construction at a contained price for the category, and a direct relationship with the yard that eases customisation.
